2016 ACEC Engineering and Excellence “Grand Award” for Grant Avenue Promenade
Two blocks of Grant Avenue between 20th and 22nd Streets in downtown Ogden, Utah have recently been re-designed and reconstructed as the new “Grant Avenue Promenade.”
This relatively small stretch of downtown is getting big attention for its innovative strides to promote bike and pedestrian use, or “active transportation”. The unique roadway also advances Ogden’s efforts to revitalize downtown and their vision to become one of the nation’s most bike friendly cities.
CRS was recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Utah with the top “Grand Award” in transportation for their design and management of this project.
