Location Kaysville, UT

High traffic volumes and off-set of the intersection made safety and driver disorientation main concerns on this project. Other issues included areas of broken and missing sidewalk, curb and gutter, and existing drainage system deficiencies. CRS managed construction and provided survey and right-of-way. Realignment of the intersection required acquisition of approximately 2,639 square feet of properties. Construction included excavation and addition of road base materials and new pavement, realignment and signal installation, upgrades to existing pedestrian access ramps to meet current ADA standards, 4-foot-wide sidewalk on each corner and approach, 2.5-foot-wide curb/gutter, and roadway re-striping. Total construction costs were $1 million.
