In order to improve access for existing traffic, improve safety by eliminating pedestrian and vehicle conflict, and to conform to the Farmington City transportation master plan, CRS redesigned portions of approximately 2 miles of Park Lane. This project was in coordination with UDOT, Federal Highway Administration and the Wasatch Front Regional Council. Our team surveyed the existing roadway and prepared all ROW documentation for acquisition from landowners. We designed the new roadway as a 2 lane road with a 14 foot median and standard shoulder. Environmental documentation (Categorical Exclusion) was prepared. Drainage features were reconfigured along with a new signal and a 2 lane round-a-bout.
