CRS was selected to assess the cause of the instability of Old Snowbasin Road and to develop potential corrective actions including 11 exploration test pits and 7 geotechnical borings at 12 different locations. Using these findings, CRS’ team redesigned the roadway so that it remains safe and useable–primarily by recreational enthusiasts. Our team first surveyed the existing conditions, coordinated with the geotechnical engineer, and made recommendations for repair. Services also included environmental documentation.
