Big West Oil / Flying J contracted with CRS to design and permit an oil terminal served by BNSF. This facility was planned to serve the Bakken Region’s (an oil reserve located in WY/ND/MT) growing demand for outbound fuel and inbound frac sand. This project included 15,300 feet of track, 20 turnouts, and 19 road crossings. In addition to the rail, CRS designed the fuel tanks, piping and spill containment system.
