To provide relief for network traffic congestion and increasing business demand, Union Pacific Railroad retained CRS to provide design and construction oversight services for the rehabilitation and expansion of their Burmester Yard located near Grantsville, Utah. Project scope included upgrades and installation of approximately 20,000 feet of track, wetland delineations and permitting, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, and public involvement. Construction costs were approximately $5,000,000.
