CRS conducted survey, alignment, design, environmental studies, and construction management for nearly 10 miles of UDOT trails through Clearfield, Farmington and West Bountiful. CRS provided pre-construction services, inspection, materials testing, construction engineering, and documentation to meet UDOT and FHWA standards. This is a part of a larger “Rails-to-Trails” program funded through UDOT Transportation enhancement resources that will eventually connect Ogden to Bountiful on abandoned railroad right-of-ways now owned by the UTA. Our team also provided the construction engineering for these asphalt trails, 10 feet wide, through largely agricultural and residential areas, crossing more than a dozen roads.
