CRS provided engineering design for this landmark project to not only reconstruct the central downtown blocks of Grant Avenue, but to provide planning and design to achieve an aesthetic pedestrian and bike friendly promenade as part of a downtown revitalization initiative. A specialized structural design element of the project included the design of a concrete cap to protect shallow underground utilities.
