CRS provided an independent technical review of the FEMA Neffs Canyon Alluvial Fan Study performed by AECOM, JE Fuller, and Hansen Allen and Luce. CRS provided a detailed review against FEMA guidance and standards. CRS invested time in listening to the concerns of many property owners and working with them to consider recommendations for study improvements. CRS’ findings presented deviations from FEMA guidance regarding the hydrologic analysis that established the 100-year flow rates for the study. CRS made recommendations regarding design and implementation of a debris basin and channel improvements.
