Coordination with many agencies was required by CRS for this 4 million gallon (MG) reservoir for West Jordan City. The topography of the site and existing storm drainage systems made it difficult to conform to Utah Division of Drinking Water regulations. CRS designed innovative solutions to these problems that the state approved. This project was planned to occur simultaneously with two other West Jordan City projects that affected the reservoir site, and our team took the initiative to coordinate survey control between the three projects. It was very important for this high-profile site to have attractive grading and landscaping for the reservoir, which are partially above-ground due to the elevation of utility tie-ins.
